The Providence Ronald McDonald House provides a home away from home for families of children receiving treatment at local hospitals: primarily Women & Infants, Hasbro Children's and Bradley Hospitals.
The House is a private, non profit public charity governed by a volunteer Board of Directors and funded by generous donations from our community. The House opened in 1989 and since then has provided temporary housing for nearly 5,000 families from Rhode Island and Southeastern New England, as well as national and international locales.
